October 2012 – The Pajama Program is a not-for-profit organization that collects new, unworn pajamas and new books to bring to local children in need. They currently have 63 chapters in 40 States and operates three (3) Reading Centers: New York, NY, Yonkers, NY and Red Bank, NJ. For the past few years Ron Cognetta based in our Stamford, CT commercial moving office has been leading the Pajama Program collection for Clancy. September 2012 – Clancy Moving Systems headquartered in Patterson, NY has recently purchased a 150,000+ square foot warehouse and office building located at 7 Edmund Road in Newtown Connecticut. September 2012 – While networking at the Westchester Business Council Mega-Mixer in Rye a few months ago we met the founder and Executive Director of Furniture Sharehouse, (Westchester’s Furniture Bank) Kate Bialo.
Kate explained that the mission of Furniture Sharehouse is to collect gently-used furniture from the public in order to redistribute it to area families in need who are referred to the program by social service agencies. June 2012 – Saturday June 9th & Sunday the 10th Clancy Moving Systems employees, family and friends joined dozens of local companies and members of the community to support The American Cancer Society and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

February 2012 – The Heart of Quality Award was established in 2005 by Unigroup (the parent company of United Van Lines of which we are a member) to recognize the “unsung heroes” behind every successful move – the move coordinator.
There are several hundred move coordinators across the United States at different moving companies that compete for the prestigious award each year!
