Fall Means Back to School
Fall is here! Which means foggy dark mornings, wet leaves and children heading back to school. Over 55 million children across the United States are heading back to school. Please note the following helpfully tips to keep our children safe when they are getting on the bus.
Slow down: Speed limits in school zones are reduced for a reason. A pedestrian struck by a vehicle traveling at 25 mph is nearly two-thirds less likely to be killed compared to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle traveling just 10 mph faster.
Come to a complete stop: Research shows that more than one-third of drivers roll through stop signs in school zones or neighborhoods. Always come to a complete stop, checking carefully for children on sidewalks and in crosswalks before proceeding.
Eliminate distractions: Taking your eyes off the road for just two seconds doubles your chances of crashing. Children can be quick, crossing the road unexpectedly or emerging suddenly between two parked cars. Reduce risk by not using your cell phone or eating while driving, for example.
Here at Clancy Relocation & Logistics safety is our #1 priority. Help us improve our FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) scores! The primary mission of the FMCSA is to reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities involving commercial vehicles. Our score is determined by driver fitness, hour of service compliance, crash indicator and vehicle maintenance.
We are over the FMCSA acceptable threshold for driver fitness and just below the threshold for HOS compliance.

Recent Customer Feedback
“Top notch from start to finish. Clancy moved our 3 bedroom home contents from N.J. to VA. Every employee, from the estimate to the last item off the truck, was professional, courteous and friendly. Highly recommended!”
-Yelp Review, Meredith S.
“I just wanted to thank you for your help and especially the help of Jay, Felipe (Fil), Walter, Jason, Hector, and the rest of the Clancy crew with the moves for 4-M/4-2 and 8-1. Everyone did such a great job and everything went smoothly. I also really appreciated the interaction between Ray and Carlos and the Clancy team. Please send my appreciation to all of the appropriate supervisors. They should definitely be recognized for their hard work and professionalism.”

“I highly recommend Murphy Movers for anyone requiring professionals to move their property safely from point A to point B. The guys showed up and were extremely professional, thanked me for my military service and got straight to work. They were careful and attentive to all of my belongings and tried several times to get a large cabinet up to my new apartment…on the hottest day of the summer. It was miserable but not once did they comment on how difficult my move was. Or the fact that cabinet wouldn’t fit…and they took it away for me. This company is excellent and easy to work with and I will recommend and hopefully use them again in the future. Thanks Liam, Bill and Jose for helping me move!”

“Our move with Murphy Moving & Storage could not have been smoother. The team of Shane and Bill showed up on time and ready to move. There was a slight discrepancy on our itemized list but resolved quickly with Geraldine over the phone on a Saturday morning. Everything was professionally either shrink wrapped or wrapped in pads. Any dents/dings originally on the furniture were pointed out before putting on the truck. The team worked quickly and efficiently and were a joy to chat with while loading and unloading the truck. Highly recommend the team at Murphy Moving & Storage.”

“Thanks for checking, it was as smooth as silk!”
–James Taylor, Crew: Eagle Rigging
“We all love Joe for his attention to detail and having to ask only once and magic happens. You guys in in the WH are the logistical magic that has spoiled PepsiCo.”
–Jeff with PepsiCo
“We couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and accommodating group of people. Our move was rather hectic, to say the least, and everyone from Tom (who scheduled drop off and pick up) to the drivers who actually moved the Pod did everything they could to work with us and make this part of our move as smooth as possible. We will definitely be coming back to this team for any future moves and will wholeheartedly recommend them to any friends and family that may be moving!”
