R2R 2015 to benefit “Drug Crisis in Our Backyard”
Each year the R2R Event Committee meets to help plan a bigger and better networking fundraiser. 100% of the funds raised goes to the cause! Event hosts WCR and Clancy donate their time and money to prepare the event so that all money collected for the per person entry fee, sponsorships and raffle sales go back to our communities. This year’s charitable organization chosen to receive the funds raised is Drug Crisis in Our Backyard which provides support services to individuals and families struggling with drug addiction.
Drug Crisis in Our Backyard is a community action organization dedicated to raising awareness, and providing education to families and individuals struggling with addiction. The organization was originally started in 2012 by Susan and Steven Salomone, and Carol and Lou Christiansen after they lost their sons to a battle with addiction. With R2R 2015, our hope is to raise funds to help them continue their support of our community’s drug crisis and expansion.
